Organization-Wide Scoring Envelope

Summary

Organizations usually want to create a scoring envelope to be used by all members of the organization.

Any Organization Admin can create and edit the org-wide envelope.

Any Organization Admin can set which envelope all members must use. Non-Admin members will not be able to choose an alternate scoring envelope.

Creating the Organization-wide Scoring Envelope

Go to http://www.cloudahoy.com/envelopes

  1. Choose the “CloudAhoy Basic” scoring envelope
  2. Click Copy/Create Envelope
  3. Edit the Envelope name to something like “My Org Envelope”
  4. Click the “Shared Envelope with the organization” button – this will make the envelope available to all the members of your organization
  5. Make any edits you want to the scoring envelope to fit your needs. For example, you can change the weights or parameters of the scoring criteria.
  6. Click “Save Changes” when you are done editing.

Selecting the Organization Envelope for all Members

Go to http://www.cloudahoy.com/envelopes

  1. Choose the “My Org Envelope”
  2. Click the “Set Default” button

From then on, all newly uploaded flights by members of the organization will be scored using the My Org Envelope and non-admin users cannot alter that. Existing flights will retain whatever envelope was previously set for them.

Organization Admins can create any number of personal and shared scoring envelopes. They can also choose which envelope is their default for new flights as well as set the scoring envelope for each existing flight. This way, organization administrators can experiment with envelopes prior to setting a default for the entire organization. And they can do further experimentation after a default is set.
